Monetary Donations

While our primary mission is to collect, warehouse, and distribute household goods to the needy at no charge using an all-volunteer staff, we need funds to support our mission. We have ongoing costs such as insurance, gas, facility rent for our warehouse and store locations, supplies, and repairs. Last year alone, our operating expenses exceeded $127,000. To continue our ministry, we need your support.

HGRM, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, charitable corporation. All donations to our organization are tax deductible. We provide you with an itemized receipt of your donations for tax purposes.

Gifts of Cash

We truly appreciate any monetary donation you can give us to help with our numerous expenses. Please send a check made out to HGRM, Inc. to 530 Main Street, Acton, MA 01720, or contribute online via Network for Good:

Memorial donations: You may make a donation of a cash gift in memory of an individual . Please tell us the name of the person to memorialize, who should receive the acknowledgement of donation (name and address) and how you would like your name to appear on the note.

In Honor of donations: You may make a donation in honor of an individual (for a birthday or anniversary, for example). Please enclose a note telling us the name of the individual to be honored with your donation, the occasion to be celebrated, and who should receive the acknowledgement of your gift (name and address) and how you would like your name to appear on the note. 

Matching Gifts

Many local and national companies will match employee contributions to HGRM. Check with your company's Human Resources department to see whether your employer has a matching gifts program. The human resources department at most employers can provide you with matching gift forms.
